Bought in 30% sale as a replacement for two years old Electrolux pure q9 (7000kc), when the battery went out and the new one cost 2500. The old type couldn't suck up the pebbles (winter grit), sucked them up but not into the container so then they fell out. This one doesn't seem to suffer from that affliction. The battery is on the back of the small vacuum cleaner and is held by 3 screws according to the manual. I guess more frequent replacement with elimination of disassembling the whole vacuum cleaner was considered. Its positioning certainly has an effect on the grip of the small vacuum cleaner. A replacement battery costs 2200 at the manufacturer. Maybe it'll go lower over time, but I'm under no illusions. The question is whether we will ever make economic sense of the exchange. Not at all with the old one, and it wasn't even 2 years old.
