If you like hot coffee, you'll love this mug. They've had better products, but this one isn't too bad. The Muggo company is a bit shady (also because of the not quite finished Indiegogo campaign), but the distribution through Alza adds a bit of credibility.
If you're going to choose between this mug and one with Qi (wireless charging for mobiles), I'd go for this one. The Qi is limited to 7.5W, whereas this mug can feed 18W. So, for example, a cold drink heats up to drinkable temperature in about half an hour. A mug of Qi could take hours. The metal contacts on the bottom, which one has to take care of a bit, are a tribute to the fast heating.
Warms the coffee so it doesn't get cold
It has a small battery, so it can keep warm for a while without a stand
The mug cannot be turned off without the stand! So when you go out with your coffee, the mug continues to heat even after you've finished your coffee, until the battery runs out. I'm not sure how he could pass CE certification with that behavior.
The mug does not always fit exactly into the stand, so you have to watch to see if you hit it when putting it down.
The previous Muggo Travel mug I had did a stork on coffee and milk after about 2 hours. This mug will make a stork in about 30 minutes.
