The product comes in very practical, resealable packaging, which prevents the product from spilling. The product has an intense lemon scent. I was very pleasantly surprised by the capsules. I was worried about the lemon scent, as I can’t stand the lemon scent of Finish cleaner. I was also worried that the crockery would be over-perfumed and leave a nasty aftertaste. I prefer unscented tablets. It’s nice to find that, after a wash, the dishwasher leaves just a faint, fresh scent; the crockery doesn’t smell of anything and doesn’t have a nasty aftertaste. So I’m thrilled. I’ve no idea why, but such large packs without a lemon scent aren’t sold on Alza. The capsules clean brilliantly, remove grease from crockery and leave pots and pans sparkling. I would, however, recommend adding a separate polish. Drops remain on the stainless steel after washing (but not on the glasses). It’s fine once you’ve added the polish. They wouldn’t have to be such a garish yellow colour either. That puts me off quite a bit. What I don’t understand, though, is that it seems to me the capsule manufacturer has artificially and unnecessarily increased its size (without increasing the volume of the contents). I bought Finish half a year ago and they fitted into the tablet dispenser without any trouble at all. The tablets are now wider than the dispenser itself, and I have a Bosch dishwasher, which Finish specifically recommends and which is designed to accommodate them. I always have to crumple up the tablet, stuff it into the tray and hope that it actually comes out. Fortunately, it always came out, and only once was there a trace of slightly undissolved powder left in the dispenser. The washing-up is always spot on, though. We’ll see how things pan out.
