My rating is primarily for the price/performance ratio. The coffee machine was at an exceptional price, which was the main motivation for buying it. Cleaning is done from the front – the milk nozzle gets in the way a bit, you have to keep repositioning it. The water tank and the waste coffee container are both quite small, and coffee grounds also fall outside the main tray. It takes quite a long time to switch off and clean itself. On the other hand, I couldn't find a similarly good coffee machine for that price.

We're very happy with the coffee machine, it's simple to operate and easy to adjust the coffee size and strength. It's absolutely perfect for making coffee with milk foam. You just put the little tube with the nozzle into a carton of milk. It's easy to clean. Compared to other coffee machines, you empty the grounds and pour out the water by opening the side door. Usually, you just slide out the tray and pour the water out – here you have to open the door. The water needs topping up quite often as the machine rinses itself frequently, so it's best to place it where you can easily access the left side.

I have a Jura D4 coffee machine at home, so I'm used to strong coffee. Various Philips and De'Longhi machines can't make it like that. I bought this Siemens mainly because my Jura doesn't have any milk programmes. The second reason was a significant discount, so I wanted to give it a try. And I have to say, I'm very pleasantly surprised. It can make an espresso that's at least as strong, if not stronger, than the Jura. The settings for the amount of coffee and the volume of the drink are more than sufficient. For a price of 6,000 Kč, I wasn't expecting much; it was supposed to be a coffee machine primarily for my wife. But now we all use it as our main coffee machine, and the Jura will probably be moved to the study. A nice bonus is the removable brewing unit. This means the machine can be thoroughly cleaned at home, and there's no need to have it expensively cleaned at a service centre once a year like the Jura.
