There are plenty of similar 3-in-1 sandwich makers on the market, even at a significantly lower price. In the end, though, I decided on Tefal. With cheaper appliances, my experience is that they don't always last as long as I'd like, so this time I wanted to bet on a tried-and-tested brand. I was choosing the sandwich maker as a gift, so not only practicality, but above all quality and reliability were important to me. I like the compact design, the look, and the option to swap the plates. I can't rate long-term use yet, but I believe I've made a good choice.
A proven brand, elegant design, compact dimensions, three types of interchangeable plates, practical use.

Small and compact
for big toasties
toasts evenly
The cable length is sufficient for me.
roasting speed
overall satisfaction so far
The burn-in process took a little while, with almost no smell.
There's no off button - you have to unplug the cable.
Compared to my old Tefal sandwich maker, this one has thin plates.
the plates are made of aluminium, they are definitely not suitable for the dishwasher
