The ninth multifunction microwave of this brand in the last 25 years that I have bought.
The colour of the body is light grey, giving the impression of an unfinished, built-in appliance. The "chrome" door is a fingerprint trap, any touch will leave a very noticeable mark.
I expected a noticeable shift in a quarter of a century of development and I am very disappointed.
Although the oven (I always buy from the best standalone) has a hot air function, this function is chopped from previous models, and it doesn't have the option to use a baking tray - the holding guides and tray are missing.
The Crisp function is divided into several control segments, what worked perfectly is "upgraded" into nonsensical programs, including the fry program.
The display is deeply recessed, so that when placed at standard kitchen counter height, the readings on the display are legible, at my height of 188 cm, only when bending over.
The biggest minus I see is that the oven does not beep when the program is finished - just a warning on the display about the end of the program and shortly thereafter it stops itself - turns off.
Since the 6th sense has always been a strength of this manufacturer, despite 3 ovens that have had this feature stop working always shortly after warranty, I am unhappy that it was removed. I am referring to the automatic food weighing function (by motor resistance), where it was enough to set the function, for example, to defrost meat, put it in the oven and turn it on. The oven "weighed" the meat and set the power and time accordingly, the same way it worked for Crisp for frozen pizza, etc.
Overall rating, when you want to use a Crisp Frying Plate, there probably isn't much choice, but I expected much more.
The only thing that caught my eye is the "Super Fast Reheat" program, which according to the instructions allows you to reheat any food "quickly". From several experiments, I have observed that the oven "analyses" both small plates and large plates of food, at room temperature or from the fridge, for 3-6 minutes, then heats for 10-30 seconds, resulting in food heated to "pub" temperature, neither boiling nor lukewarm. So it's not super fast, but it does heat the food to a little higher than directly consumable temperature. Unfortunately, even with this program there is a problem if you use the "hatch" on the food, so that greasy food (roast chicken, roast meat, etc. ) does not soak the entire inside of the oven with oil, the food will heat up to an unconsumable temperature. So no rapid reheat on automatic.
