An updated version of the ASUS M5A99X EVO Motherboard. The new Revision 2.0 version comes with guaranteed compatibility with Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, a new LAN chip, broader support for the integrated audio system (DTS Ultra PC II, DTS Connect) and last but not least new innovative ASUS technology with Dual Intelligent Processors 3 Combined with New DIGI + Power Control.
The board is designed as a great base for a gaming computer and is also chosen by those who plan to increase the performance by overclocking. This is assisted by the massively cooled power supply area, the 8-pin power connector for the CPU, the Dual Intelligent Processors 3 with New DIGI + Power Control for perfect hardware control. Also perfect system performance tuning, and more convenient BIOS flashing and accessibility (DirectKey, USB BIOS Flashback)
