The feature-rich and affordable Cisco SPA512G VoIP phone is an asset to any small business with staff who handle a high volume of calls but who do not need multi-line support, such as salespeople or customer service representatives. This VoIP phone is the next generation of its predecessor, the popular SPA502G, and comes equipped with a host of improvements. These include:

The Cisco SPA512G provides one voice line, is fully compatible with SIP and Smart Phone Control Protocol (SPCP) VoIP technology and integrates easily with Cisco Smart Business Communications. Users can control the phone using a 128 x 64px backlit black-and-white LCD display. The phone has two Ethernet ports with 10/100BASE-T speed support.

The phone's 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption guarantees call security at all times, and its 2.5mm port also allows headset connections. One advantage of the phone is that its PoE (Power over Ethernet) support can be used to connect it - and its power adapter - to an Ethernet network. It also comes equipped with features such as voice tapping, caller ID, conference calls, and an expansive directory capacity for contacts.
