It has undergone more than 61 reliability tests that verify resistance to drops, twisting and various environmental influences. The result is a design that doesn't shy away from normal wear and tear and can give you long life without compromising performance. The headphones can withstand 5,000 cycles of plugging and unplugging the charging port, withstand temperatures from -40 to 75°C for 48 hours, pass a 48-hour salt spray corrosion test and a 96-hour test combining a high temperature of 65°C with 95% humidity. The rotary controls were subjected to 20,000 load cycles, the buttons to 10,000 presses, and the head bridge withstood 5,000 cycles of extension, 6,000 displacements and 6,000 joint bends.
