ISO sensitivity is a value that determines how sensitive the camera's image sensor is to light. The minimum ISO sensitivity parameter indicates the lowest possible value that can be set on the camera. Lower ISO values mean less sensitivity to light, resulting in a clearer image with less digital "noise". Noise is a visual distortion that shows up as graininess or spots of color in the image. The lowest ISO value is primarily used when shooting or photographing in good lighting conditions, such as on a sunny day, when there is enough light available to properly expose the image without having to artificially increase the sensitivity of the sensor.

The size of the sensor indicates the physical dimensions of the light-sensitive chip, which is a key component of the camera and is used to capture light and convert it into a digital image. A larger sensor has the ability to capture more light, which positively affects the resulting quality of photos and videos. This is especially evident in lower light conditions, such as dusk, where the larger sensor produces an image with less digital noise, which is unwanted grain in the image. In addition, a larger sensor allows for a wider dynamic range, i.e. better rendering of details in overly bright and dark parts of the scene at the same time. Size is usually given in inches, for example "1/2.3 inch" or "1 inch", with the smaller the number in the denominator of the fraction, the larger the sensor.

The lens luminosity indicates how much light the lens is capable of transmitting to the camera's image sensor. This value is expressed by the aperture number, which is denoted as "f/" followed by a number, such as f/1.7 or f/2.8. A lens with a low aperture number allows you to take better quality shots in lower light conditions, such as twilight or overcast skies, because the sensor gets enough light even with a faster shutter speed or lower ISO sensitivity, which reduces blur and image noise. The aperture number also affects the depth of field, the range of distances over which objects appear sharp. A lower aperture number produces a shallow depth of field with a blurred background.
