The AVR-X2800H DAB AV receiver can be controlled hands-free using the Amazon Alexa voice assistant—just download the free HEOS Home Entertainment Skill and enable Amazon Alexa voice commands. Use your voice to easily adjust the playback volume, skip to the next track, switch inputs for different media players and more. Voice control requires the Alexa app and a compatible Amazon device (Echo, Dot and others). Feature availability varies by region. You can also use AirPlay 2 technology with the Siri voice assistant, which allows you to wirelessly stream Apple Music to the AV receiver. The amplifier can also be easily grouped with other AirPlay-compatible speakers, allowing you to cover the space with music even more effectively.

Denon receivers use the Audyssey software suite for simple, accurate setup and calibration. Included is an Audyssey measurement microphone that measures all the speakers in your home cinema and automatically tunes the AV receiver to provide the optimal sound performance tailored to the specific characteristics of the room.
