A bidet shower, also referred to as a handheld bidet shower, is a device for intimate hygiene that is not an integral part of the toilet bowl or seat. It consists of a small shower head with a control button or lever for water activation and a flexible hose. The shower is usually placed in a wall-mounted holder next to the toilet and connected to a separate faucet. This faucet, which can be wall-mounted or concealed, serves to set the desired water temperature and pressure. The user holds it in hand and directs the stream of water as needed, allowing for flexible and targeted cleansing.
