Deep tissue massage refers to a type of massage that focuses on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. Massage devices with this function utilize stronger pressure, intense vibrations, or so-called percussive, or tapping, movements to penetrate deeper into the muscle tissue. The goal is to release chronic muscle tension, stiffness, and so-called 'knots', which are painful points in the muscles. Unlike a superficial relaxation massage, this technique can feel more intense. It is suitable for regeneration after sports performance or for alleviating long-term discomfort in areas such as the back, shoulders, or legs.
