Rear-facing car seats are designed for larger children, usually from approx. 76-105 cm tall or from 15 months of age (according to the i-Size standard). This position is more comfortable for observing the surroundings, but provides a lower level of protection in a frontal impact than a rear-facing seat. The use of a rear-facing seat should always be in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and current safety standards. It should also be combined with advanced safety features such as ISOFIX and TOP TETHER.
