A push-button stop valve is a mechanism located directly on the hand shower, which serves to start and stop the flow of water. After mixing the desired water temperature and pressure at the faucet, the water remains ready, but does not flow from the shower head. The flow is activated by pressing a button on the shower body and stops immediately upon its release. This valve is not designed for permanent shut-off of pressurized water, therefore, after each use, it is necessary to also close the main water supply at the faucet, to prevent the risk of hose damage or water leakage.
