Reverse Airflow

Reverse airflow refers to a special fan design that changes the direction in which air flows compared to the standard design. A conventional fan intakes air through its front, usually more visually attractive side, and exhausts it through the back side, where the motor support structure is located. If you need a fan to function as an intake but also want its attractive front side to be visible, you must use a reverse flow model. This type of fan has specifically shaped blades that, even in standard orientation, push air in the opposite direction – meaning they intake it through the rear side and exhaust it through the front. This allows for maintaining a uniform and clean look for the computer build, as all fans can be oriented with the same side facing the user, regardless of whether they are intaking or exhausting air.
