Sandblasting is a function that allows for the removal of very stubborn dirt, such as old paint, rust, graffiti, or deposits, using a pressure washer. A special nozzle is connected to the pressure washer, which has an intake for abrasive material, most often special sand. The high-pressure water stream carries this material along and propels it onto the surface to be cleaned. This results in so-called abrasive cleaning, where small and hard sand particles mechanically abrade and remove the unwanted layer from the substrate. This method is used on durable surfaces, such as metal, stone, concrete, or bricks.
