The car power outlet provides a standard method of power supply for most car cameras. It is a common 12V socket, often referred to as a "cigarette lighter," which is part of the equipment of almost every vehicle. The camera connects to it using a special adapter, which is usually included in the package. This adapter converts the voltage from 12 V to a lower value, most commonly 5 V, which is necessary for the operation of the device itself. This solution allows for easy installation, which does not require any intervention in the car's electrical system.
