Fujitsu Microsoft Windows Server 2016 CAL 5 User

The Windows Server has been waiting to be improved for four years. That's why the 2016 version has been fundamentally redesigned to meet today's and future demands for network services and cloud computing. With all its innovative features, it has been designed to include greater security, stability and flexible performance for all its essential tasks. This comprehensive Windows Server 2016 platform will bring you wherever you want in your environment.

Improved features:

• Added security layers and deployment options
• When in Hyper-V it supports nested virtualisation
• Backs up virtual machines using snapshots
•  Reduce demand with Nano Server for virtualisation
• Software restart function for faster progress
• Windows Containers keeps everything for an application in the container
• Internet Information Services with HTTP/2 protocol

More security

In a world where you face a wide range of risks, you need more security layers to prevent loss of critical data. You can rely on these new levels of protection, which are integrated into the system. Both features, Credential Guard and Remote Credential Guard, protect long-distance administrator credentials and can distribute the power of each manager's account, ensuring that the function will not compromise or give full disclosure of system features. However, it is necessary to analyse everything, and so advanced auditing tools have been added to identify susceptible core behaviours and processes.

More in one

You can divide the structure of your services into virtual machines. This strategy will help to protect the whole and ensure the independence of each part. Even the virtual machines themselves are encrypted with BitLocker. You can reduce resource utilisation using a lightweight Nano Server installation. This minimalist environment can provide the necessary functions with minimal demands on system resources. The updated Nano Server snap-in module, now, works to separate the physical host and hosted virtual machine functions. It also supports various versions of the Windows Server. Or, it can improve container-based protection with Hyper-V containers.

It solves practical traffic problems

Now, you can make affordable and scalable solutions at a fraction of the cost. With software-defined storage, you can increase data centre efficiency. By connecting your physical and virtual infrastructure with software technologies to reduce your administrative costs, you make the most out of your hardware. You can manage everything centrally, monitor performance, and manage access to storage resources.

Newly distributed editions

The Windows Server 2016 operating system comes in 3 different editions to meet budgetary needs. Basic is the Essentials edition designed primarily for small businesses and their networks with up to 25 users. The highest version, Windows Server 2016 Datacenter is suitable for large corporations and companies with serious networking demands. Included are licenses for the operation of unlimited virtual machines.
