A felhasználó így nagyon könnyen módosíthatja nemcsak a grafikus felületet, hanem a telefon kezelésének módját is. Az Android gyenge pontja a rosszindulatú támadásokra való nagyobb fogékonyság. Az egyes operációs rendszerek részletesebb leírása, előnyeik és hátrányaik a Mobil operációs rendszerek összehasonlítása című cikkben található.
