Kingston 16GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC Registered

The new DDR4 memory module with reduced power consumption from the expert manufacturer, Kingston, is designed for high-performance work systems and HP servers. It supports Registered ECC technology and has a capacity of 16GB. ECC technology monitors transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in the memory. It is able to find and correct an error in a single bit and detect an error in two bits. Some memory controllers can, in cooperation with ECC memory, repair errors of greater magnitude. Most server boards require memory with ECC support.

Registered memory is equipped with a controller that controls access to individual memory modules and facilitates the work of the memory controller on the motherboard or processor. Memory outwardly behaves as a single module - chip registry - which is responsible for writing and reading of individual memory cells, and the controller passes on the result of these operations. This increases the efficiency of memory access and the processing speed, even with more memory modules simultaneously. Some server boards require registered memory.
