The large 7.5cm (3") high-resolution LCD display allows you to create compositions, check your resulting photographs and apply special effects, which you cansee on the screen in brilliant quality.
With the D3400, taking still pictures is just half the fun. When you have the opportunity to record videos, D-Movie lets you capture seamless Full HD movies with fine details with a shooting frequency of up to 50p/60p. Continuous focusing ensures a perfectly sharp footage even when filming dynamic scenes. In addition, the wide ISO sensitivity range allows the camera to easily record street scenes at night or record fun situations at social gatherings in dimly lit interiors.
The D3400 is well-equipped to bring out your creative side. Ten different built-in camera effects make it easy to enrich the captured images with a creative touch. Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.
In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
