This is our first Philips TV with Ambilight and so we were full of expectations. Ambilight is a very interesting feature and especially in complete darkness it enhances the experience. The picture is generally very nice, the blacks are quite black and the backlighting is even. The whole Google TV experience is very snappy. Both the workmanship of the TV and the remote control is very good. The sound is generally at the level you would expect from a TV, we have a Denon amplifier and big wooden speakers hooked up and it's a different level. Overall, I definitely recommend the TV, and not just because of Ambilight.
