After tuning the sound in the equalizer they have a quite capable sound, otherwise it is overbassed. First of all, I think the sound is excellent. Bass pronounced and multiple frequencies around 175Hz, but nothing that can't be pulled off. That's true when connected to bluetooth, but don't get mad at me-I know that's probably not in vogue anymore-but when I connect them to a jack, they sound much worse. Just the mids and the delivery bland(hopefully I don't have a defective piece). Interesting that over usb-c they play well again-like bluetooth. The ANC is decent-enough-but as already described-it doesn't muffle as many voices. The earpieces are soft- they don't pinch me when worn for long periods of time. It's a leatherette that's probably gonna peel again after two years. Controls are fine on the whole, although I'd rather have a 2x press than a 2 second hold. I recommend the purchase
