Well, what can you expect from Arctic: D It’s basically a PC fan stuffed into a torch casing. A maximum speed of around 4k rpm is more than enough; you usually only need about half that. However, I do have one criticism: from about halfway through, I find the fan rather noisy (though this is obviously less noticeable when the device is in use). Another drawback, in my view, is the quality of the stand. After about two weeks’ use, it’s already quite worn out and the fan tends to come loose and fold down. Personally, I’m not really a fan of the switch either. Every time I want to move the fan, I accidentally grab it and change the speed: And overall, it feels a bit like the switch on some old Soviet transistor radio: D But I don’t want to just keep criticising it, so I have to give credit where credit’s due for the battery life. It does take quite a long time to charge, but even so, the fan kept running every day for nearly two weeks. Another nice bonus is the size. As it’s battery-powered, all you have to do is fold it up, pop it in your pocket and take it with you, say, from the office to the kitchen: D It’s probably good value for the money – we’ll see in time
