It's a good thing there are still models without i-DOS, the forums mention that this one soon goes bad (the cables in the tank corrode) and it's a wonder Bosch hasn't improved/addressed this. The manual connection to the home wi-fi network (hidden SSID) was successful, albeit only on the second attempt.

We bought the BOSCH WGB25602CS washing machine about a week ago. My wife and I are thrilled. The washing machine is very quiet even compared to previous higher category washing machines from competitors. So much so that I couldn't believe it when my wife set the spin speed to 1600rpm. It is quiet even when working slowly. It washes better than the previous washing machine, the clothes are soft, clean and do not smell. The control is quite intuitive, touch, programs via the digital ring and the rest touch in the right part (basic speed, temperature but also other additional settings). In addition, further settings can be made via the Home Connect app. You can remotely monitor the status of washing and program termination, but you can also start the program (but you can disallow this if you are afraid of misuse). Pairing the app is quick with WiFi codes you get from your phone after an intuitive connection (via Bluetooth). But you need to create a registration. My wife appreciated the drum light (the last 8 washing machines for 30 thousand did not have it). I also like the low consumption of the A-30 class, but I base that on the manufacturer's figure. However, only 1 segment instead of four is supplied to cover the transport screws. In the manual it first says 4 but then it says sometimes they only deliver 1 and that is the case with this washing machine. The washing machine comes with a sticker ring with programs cotton etc in Slovak. it's probably not supposed to stick there, but we did. That's why I informed Alza, but probably to no avail. Maybe Alza should communicate more and be able to report possible delivery problems without having to report it as a return!
