I confess that I don't see the point at all of forcing a customer to write a review of a washing machine so soon after buying the machine for the sake of cashback. When I choose a washing machine, I don't care how it behaves after 2 weeks of washing, but how it behaves after three or five years. But I will never know that from any review. So what can I say after 2 weeks - the washing machine washes, our clothes come out well washed. It is reasonably quiet/loud (everyone perceives this differently). I like the size of the drum, the backlighting of the drum, the way it is operated and the fact that it doesn't bounce around the bathroom. So far, it seems to be really stable. The automatic dosing system is a great idea and worth the investment in the more expensive model for that alone. I can say that we used far less liquid laundry gel in two weeks than normal. The washing machine has a total of three dispensers for liquid detergent (I know, the combination of the words "liquid" and "powder" sounds illogical, but I think it's clear what is meant) or fabric softener, two of which can be programmed in the app for a specific powder (dispenser 1) or a specific powder or fabric softener (dispenser 2). Just enter what type of water you have in the app once (I found it on PVK's website) and scan the barcode on the powder packaging and the app immediately set the basic washing dose for that powder in that container. When changing the powder, simply delete the set powder in the app and scan the new type. We have tried 2 powders from DM and Persil Sensitive so far and so far the app has been able to recognize everything by the barcode. When you switch on a programme, you simply select where to draw the powder from on the washing machine or in the app, and then the system automatically takes how much it needs during the wash based on the weight and type of programme. How it works in real life with fabric softener, I have no idea, because we don't use it. I didn't read where to put the liquid disinfectant in the instructions, so I reckon it will be tray no. 3, which cannot be programmed to a specific powder. After about twenty cycles, the app prompted me to clean the automatic dispenser to prevent any mold from forming, but visually and by smell it didn't even look like the system really needed it (of course I cleaned the entire dispensing system according to the instructions). I still haven't figured out how to pour the leftover gel out of the tray so that it doesn't end up in the garbage and I can use the unused residue next time. But the weekend and a new mountain of laundry ahead of me... The washing machine without the app offers quite a lot of programs, however, only with the app you can touch the really interesting functions such as cleaning the drum, setting the dispenser to a specific detergent, reports about the need to add more powder to the hopper during the next wash, clicking on the type of laundry, when the app then recommends the setting of a suitable program and can then start the washing cycle. Pairing the app with the washing machine was a bitch. What is stated in the instructions does not apply at all, no holding the button min. Three seconds. On the other hand, you need to click briefly to get a big symbol reminiscent of a snake eating its tail 😉). The app was only able to pair with the third mobile phone we tried, and we were not allowed to stand by the washing machine, but rather be away from it. Once it happened that the washing machine disconnected from the wifi after the program was finished and became a box that did not respond to anything, not even to unplugging or attempting a factory setting. We had to reconnect the washing machine to the wifi via the app and everything was fixed immediately. Big Brother must be having a lot of fun somewhere... The washing machine makes various knocking noises when it turns on and off, which surprised me, but I take it that the system is checking the various functions and mechanisms of the washing machine. It gives me such a fine German feeling that everything is in Ordnung. The washing machine does not have an Aquastop. It has its own system to prevent water leakage, but surprisingly, even at the high price of this washing machine, Bosch saved on the classic Aquastop hose. The alzos who delivered and installed the washer recommended we use the original Aquastop hose that came with our last washer. The washing machine hasn't been able to cope with the wringing so far as I've only washed one pillow. A classic - a catchphrase due to the uneven distribution of laundry as the pillow sucked a bunch of water into itself. Two pillows washed at once on a 3 hr program we are just going to try and see how it handles the wringing this time. Otherwise, we'll have to squeeze the water out of the fluffy pillows in the shower again to reduce their weight. It worked on that first pillow, and wringing at 1600 rpm can practically get rid of water completely on some things. The annoying thing is that the washing machine beeps when the program is finished with the same tone as our Bosch microwave, only with a different interval. My initial reaction so far has always been to be scared that something is wrong with the washing machine, because maybe some errored message might show up that way. We'll have to get used to the Boshaks beeping the same tone 😊 We don't want to turn off the beeping, otherwise we would 100% forget to take the clothes out of the washing machine. In conclusion, after two weeks and about 25 washes - we do not regret the purchase. The washer can handle far more laundry than the last washer, the laundry washes well, it doesn't travel around the bathroom, the dispensing system makes it much easier to manage the detergent, and the app has great features. We bought an extended warranty, so hopefully Bosch won't disappoint. So far, every washing machine in the last 20 years has needed some sort of repair after about 3 years. Since we have had a whole bathroom fitted by Bosch for 18 years, we believe (and hope) that it will not disappoint in the bathroom. I'm giving four stars for the fact that linking the washing machine to the app annoyed me beyond belief (I was excited for a new machine and instead spent hours frustrated and searching for advice and YouTube videos - of course there were none available for this model...), and the inability to wring out a pillow soaked in water even with such a robust design. Hello laundry!

And one piece of advice to conclude, I have a great experience with Bosh, the previous one lasted 13 years, inside like new, if the plate hadn't failed, it would have lasted another 15 years. if you want this buckle, order the type marked A0 instead of A6, otherwise the same number, the price was even cheaper, the equipment is exactly the same, but it has Aquastop.
