I purchased a Candy washing machine (model CO4 274TWM6/1-S) with confidence in a brand that comes across as familiar and reliable. The product was not even a year old, yet during operation there were occasional failures in program selection (about twice a month), and eventually there was a water leak from underneath. On a test run, the water reappeared, indicating that the problem is still present. The technical inspection was very disappointing - the technician immediately suggested, without any evidence, that there was probably a coin inside, which probably explained the whole thing. I consider this a very unprofessional and biased approach, especially when the equipment is still under warranty. Am I really supposed to believe that a product with a design where a single small coin can supposedly cause both mechanical damage and electronic malfunctions is of high quality and safe? The customer has the right to an objective assessment of the defect, including the possibility that: the problem could have been caused by a manufacturing defect (e.g. microcrack in the plastic), an internal part may have become loose or worn, the electronics fail independently of external influences. Unfortunately, at this point I cannot trust that the next inspection will be objective if the approach remains the same - i.e. finding fault on the customer's side before any serious diagnostics are even performed. I expect a fair solution, within the valid warranty. If the equipment is not repaired free of charge and with a professional approach, I will contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (CTIA). I would like to add that I also currently own a Candy hob and oven. I planned to buy other appliances of the same brand in the future so that I could control everything conveniently within one app. Unfortunately, after this experience I have to reconsider my decision and switch to another brand that is more loyal to its customers - not only on paper, but also in practice. I was disappointed that at the first glitch the fault was immediately suggested on the part of the user, without a thorough technical examination. This is not the approach I would expect from a reputable company.
