The sludge on the bottom it sucks quite well, but the suction power is quite weak, the suction hole is narrow, so for example the leaf will only suck with brand new batteries. It turns on by turning the battery cover, which is a big indulgence because if you do it underwater, water gets in. You must also buy a rod. I was thinking about a charger and rechargeable batteries, but that will cost more than the vacuum cleaner itself. In summary, vacuum cleaner + rod + charger + rechargeable battery = approx. three thousand CZK. So I'd rather buy a conventional vacuum cleaner with a hose for the skimmer.

Too bad it is not on an adapter and rechargeable from the mains, but it does not matter, the battery lasts more vacuuming, if you use it often, I definitely recommend buying rechargeable batteries. According to the instructions, I inserted the batteries, watered the vacuum cleaner and turned it on. We have a gazebo by the pool and from big rains we sometimes get pebbles from the shingles on the roof into the pool, it was not possible to suck them out with the pool vacuum cleaner, but this one handled it, as well as other dirt. You vacuum independently of the filtration, simply attach to the pool pole and that's it. I have a 3.6 m diameter pool and I easily vacuumed the entire bottom in 15-20 minutes. There are wheels on the bottom so it handles well, only when you have finer dirt, it wants to move it slower on the bottom so it doesn't wiggle, but that's with all vacuums. It is easy to operate and clean, in the future I would only buy such a vacuum cleaner, without vacuuming through filtration. I definitely recommend it.
