Another reviewer criticizes that the lock attaching to the roof rack locks into a plastic sleeve (= easy prey for thieves). Yes, that's true, but the original has the same solution. These racks are definitely not designed to keep bikes unattended overnight. For normal transport it serves well (my opinion).
