" This unfortunately limits the functionality of the device to one stable frequency, as the manufacturer's settings result in a random change of frequency so that the rodents do not get used to one stable frequency. In any case, no ultrasonic tone can repel any rodent species living in the Czech Republic. A camera system with FullHD resolution, motion sensor, recording and night infrared illumination was installed at the site. The frequency of rodents in an enclosed area of approximately 15 m2 was identical when the scarecrow was switched off and on. Mice, weasels and marten have been recorded. The scarecrow was directed directly into the guarded area without physical obstructions with direct visibility to the entire area of the site. According to the manufacturer's claims, it is necessary to wait several weeks for the desired effect. The device was plugged in continuously for 2 months.
