The biggest disadvantage is that you can only set 2 temperatures (low and high) in the range of about 7 to 40°C, and the head can be programmed to either heat on low or high. For example, it is not possible to heat at 20°C in the morning, 25°C in the afternoon and 22°C in the evening. Or a different temperature every day. Simply, if I set the low to 18 and the high to 24°C, I can only heat at either 18 or 24°C. However, I personally don't mind this. The low temperature is set to 7°C (i.e. the head is fully closed and not heating) and the high temperature is set to 35°C (i.e. the head is fully open and heating at maximum). And I have it programmed to heat for a while in the morning, not at home during the day, so I don't heat, and then in the afternoon and evening it goes back to maximum and the head closes completely at night.
