The camera let me down. I wanted to buy it as an upgrade of my existing camera (TrueCam). Unfortunately, this model is inferior in all respects, including video quality. For a 4K, the image is really bad and even in daylight you can't read the license plates. I returned the product. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend it

horrible video quality - I don't know if it was the polarizing filter, but all the lights of oncoming cars or street lighting are horribly burnt out and seem to be expanding. So it is not possible to recognize license plates on most cars even in daylight
the glass holder doesn't hold at all. During 30 minutes it fell down about 5 times (and I cleaned the glass before)
the camera doesn't even have a small integrated battery, it can't be dropped except in the holder (which is quite impractical for changing settings etc)
You can't look at the videos you just shot in the camera, you have to remove the SD card and look at them on the computer
the camera is quite large and heavy, it is obstructed behind the glass
the magnetic holder is really badly made, basically you can't remove the camera from it without removing the holder from the glass

Despite the negatives and reservations I list here, I evaluate the camera positively, because I bought it for the quality of the recording and in that it met my expectations. Nice sharp image without grain even in poor conditions. I'm not too happy with the camera mount, I think the workmanship could have been better. By pulling the camera out towards you, you can't put it directly behind the mirror unless you take the suction cup off each time, which is quite impractical. I wanted to order the rear camera and the parking mode adapter right away, but they are not in stock anywhere, which is a bit disappointing for a camera costing almost six thousand. Now I can only hope that the manufacturer will stock the accessories soon. The app from the manufacturer can't be installed for sure, but I can probably do without it. Overall, these are the kind of little things that I can forgive the camera for because the quality of the footage is very good and that's the most important thing.

Meanwhile the camera is in standby and so it consumes almost no current, moreover, I have read that it has protection if the car battery drops below a certain level, so the camera is deactivated preventively, so there is no risk that after a few weeks of parking in this mode then it would not be possible to start because the car battery would be depleted. You can see that the manufacturer really thought about it. The quality of the footage is exceptional both during the day and at night and in fog, which was the reason I chose this camera. This is the fourth Eltrinex dashcam I have purchased, the previous ones were other brands. I evaluate after 2000km of use. Samsung 128GB card. One can set up simply in the menu and the screen saver as a great speed indicator thanks to the internal GPS. Overall, the camera is slightly lower in height than previous types - it doesn't interfere with the passenger's view as much. A high-quality card reader is also included. Overall construction solid. In daylight and twilight I can read the sign of oncoming vehicles on the PC even at 90km. The camera can be removed easily by hand, yet holds firmly while driving. Tighten the bracket! Cons: At night the recording while driving is lousy, the sound recording even at the highest level is always consistently very weak. The brightness of the display cannot be adjusted. The shaft for the card is deeper, I can't remove it with my fingernail - only with a pencil. Overall quality product, grade as in school 1-. I'd buy again.
