The iPhone is great and all fine, but…
If you're buying this as a gift, order it elsewhere. Alza's packaging is almost always damaged. They must get thrown around the warehouse like rugby balls.

Honestly, I have the 14 Pro Max 500GB version and I've now bought the 18 Pro Max two terabyte version, and everything is exactly the same. The photos are identical, no better and no worse than on my old phone, so I don't know.

Quality sound
Excellent 120Hz display
48MP camera with a variable aperture
Fast, powerful
Bigger battery, longer life
The size is just right, I was worried it would be too big

Nice display and higher brightness in direct sunlight
battery life
system continuity
charging speed
Variable aperture (lets you play around with the depth of field).
Heavier weight (not a problem for me) but if someone carries it around in their pocket, it's heavier than previous models

the little box was slightly scratched and a bit bashed
