As a lazy person, I wanted a coffee machine that can do everything sort of by itself and at the same time makes the best possible foam. This one will ask for everything he needs, the instructions, even in English, can be understood by a small child and what he can't do himself, he makes it as easy as possible for you. I would perhaps criticise the relatively high noise level, but this is quite common with these machines, and you probably can't expect any soundproofing with such a compact machine. It fits a regular mug and a regular coffee glass, but you can't put taller glasses like the ones used for frappe. I don't know what prevented the comrades from France from adding a larger range of drinks, or for example the option of hot water for tea or americano, but the offer of five coffee drinks and one separate froth is rather austere, although it is quite sufficient for a normal household. Given the high quality of the foam, even with regular milk, I would have expected more milk drinks, but what can you do, then Krups couldn't possibly offer more models. The milk foam lasts a very long time indeed, regardless of the milk used, and it doesn't even try to suggest that it would fall off. A separate one is then excellent for preparing cocoa for children. However, it's a shame that the three drink size menus are somewhat nondescript and we basically only use the largest portion. Even so, I have to recommend the machine, you probably can't get better quality in this price range and if I can compare it with a half more expensive machine, there is nothing to complain about.
