handling the filter after brewing coffee - I didn't expect this, you have to scrape the coffee out of the filter, if you want to knock it out, it falls out with the filter, plus it's still dripping coffee residue, so one quick preso means cleaning around. And to prepare 4 pres, it's quite stressful. I have a 12 year old Roventa at the cottage and squeezing the rest of the coffee out of the filter is solved in the lever with a single press with absolutely no mess around. I think the engineers at Krups brew their coffee in a competitor's coffee machine or have a cleaning lady there. They didn't think of that after all these years.
