I don't know where the many positive reviews come from, I guess I'm just too demanding. ANC doesn't work with these headphones rather than having any effect. In addition, turning it on will take away from the already rather shallow sound (which is common), but here it doesn't even make sense to have it on. The earpieces are quite hard, they press and after a while they are hot on the ears. In general, I would recommend to look for other headphones in a similar price level without ANC because these ones don't seem to have it anyway.
