I am a professional musician and need affordable headphones with quality balanced sound. Marshalls offer this, so I went for the safe bet. I especially like their bass and just the fact that they don't "hurt" the ears: With Drum&Bass, both the bass and treble sound great, and the bass isn't too bassy and the treble isn't sharp. I have these Marshalls in Cream and so far it suits me very well. But from experience they get badly dirty over time (I had Marshall Major III or IV in white before) and even later the faux leather starts to peel off, which is a really ugly and inelegant process. But by then I'll be in a situation where I'll be happy to upgrade to headphones without compromise, and I'll gladly give a seven or ten for them. Such will hopefully be both elegant and easy to use, with great sound and will sit perfectly on your head without the need to take them off after a while due to pressure on the ears or the corresponding heat from listening to music.

I'm not a musician and I don't even have bat ears but the Marshall Major V's have a really great sound. The battery life per charge is great and you can connect them as wired headphones if you need to. It sits comfortably on your head and the wireless charging option is the icing on the cake. I see codecs as the main minus, some variant of aptX would definitely be a benefit. The LC3 should be coming soon though, so it will be sorted. Worse is the non-functionality of the settings app in android 15, I see this as a clear shame for the manufacturer.
