It's just right for hamsters. The sawdust is not small and does not produce much fine dust. At first I thought the big sawdust was bad. But after reading several recommendations for hamsters - came to the conclusion that large sawdust is better than small. The package is very large, but we have two large hamster boxes and you only need to replace each 4-5 times.
