I purchased the bike to upgrade parts from an old 29'' MTB. In original condition it is fully sufficient ebike for trips on paved and max. field/forest roads where a comfortable spring fork is sufficient. The original cartridge does not have the range for use in hillier terrain. After upgrading for about 2500, - CZK to a cassette and Microshift Acolyte shifting (it fits on the original walnut) and installing an air fork from the old bike, the Ratikon became a full-fledged XC ebike, functionally it is comparable to ebikes of "renowned" brands in the price category of 40 - 60.000 CZK. The most surprising thing was the refined drive of the Vinka and the battery, which at my 100kg easily lasted about 55km in difficult terrain (Beskydy) and with lighter use on asphalt even the declared 80km. It would be useful to stock up on spare batteries, but then who would buy more expensive bikes, right: ).
