When cleaning, it first goes around the perimeter and then systematically takes the area, according to the settings in the app. It automatically increases the power to maximum when the carpet is hit. Small and lightweight carpets can bunch up and get stuck on them (typically a bathroom rug), also watch out for smaller loose cables. Otherwise, it's relatively easy to dodge. I have a regular daily cleaning set up and it always collects quite a bit of dust. Wiping is not the primary purpose of this robot, so I think of it as an "emergency" accessory, it is pulling damp rags under the robot. The reservoir is small and very difficult to dry after cleaning (small pouring hole). You can choose between two levels of mop soaking. Unfortunately, he can't avoid the carpet when he is wearing a mop, which is a great pity - it would be enough if he could distinguish that he has a mop on (he knows about the carpet). I also praise the small docking station - it's perfectly adequate for small apartments and can be hidden under a taller cabinet. For this price, a really very good helper that makes living more pleasant and delays regular major cleaning. I recommend it.
