After the first few days, the S8 MaxV Ultra model has an overall impression of a completely comparable workhorse, just with an inadequate price tag. RGB camera = in practice I did not notice any benefit, on the contrary, for sensitive people, potential sleeplessness in the privacy violation. On the other hand, you don' t need to activate the feature. S8 Pro Ultra with 3D has perfect navigation. For playing and watching the space for the first 5 minutes, good fun, nothing more. Flexiarm: by default, it does not slide out, only if you attach something to the corner. I sprinkled some rice seeds in a few corners, then the Flexiarm extended as if it saw it. Once empty, it won' t pop out. As for vacuuming along the couch, etc., where the arm could extend and pick up the dust underneath, that doesn' t happen. Hopefully they will improve it in the next firmware. Side rotating small mop: minimal benefit. It spins, it' s wet, there' s a trail behind it, it takes the edges, but once you have slanted baseboards, the shape of the mop is distorted by them. Roborock has already realized this and has reportedly changed the design as part of the replacement accessory, where the round mop is slightly smaller and does not bend as much. Matter: not yet possible to try in Apple Homekit. It should be after the release of iOS18. Mopping: same quality as S8 Pro Ultra. Vacuuming: subjectively recognize a higher suction power. The internal dust container has shrunk. Navigation: in my household the same as the S8 Pro Ultra. In addition, MaxV Ultra only recognized a couch, a table and even a wall-mounted TV cabinet according to AI. Maintenance: practically the same. The advantage of the S8 Pro Ultra was that it could dock both front and back. So he went to take out the filter while it was in the dock. For the S8 MaxV Ultra, it needs to be removed from the dock. I feel like the S8 MaxV Ultra has more things to go wrong. Detergent container: I poured it full of Sidolux Marseille soap. It seems to work and take something from her. You can easily feel it on the mop and the floor. Accessories: only OEM from Amazon at this time. No Czech seller has filters, mops or bags (found that at least the bags are the same as at Qrevo). Notifications: Roborock models 2024 no longer support mobile notifications regarding successfully completed cleaning. Notifications of malfunctions or jams fortunately work. Conclusion: switching from the S8 Pro Ultra has not paid off for me " yet". At the moment, the S8 MaxV Ultra is sewn with a hot needle. Its highlights, as stated by Roborock, are not of great benefit in practice. We' ll see after a few firmware updates. If I were to evaluate only the price at the moment, then for 33,000, - it is an absurd machine in the worst ratio price vs. performance, when the S8 Pro Ultra on sale for 23,000 is practically an equally excellent worker, - and I can say that it is also sophisticated in terms of SW. We' ll see in 2-3 months if they catch the S8 MaxV Ultra as well. Currently, the robot is called " Dežo". As soon as the ailments (FlexiArm, Matter, etc. ) will " hopefully" be solved, it will get a better name. I' m still considering returning it and getting the S8 Pro Ultra, which after experience feels more professional and especially more durable. Just for reference, the S8 Pro Ultra package weighs 20kg, the S8 MaxV Ultra 14kg. The difference is 6 kg. Roborock saves on quality.

Compared to the S8 Pro Ultra, there are none.
