Really read the manual - 10 minutes. The setting after startup is "Inside drying" the description of the function is spread over two pages in the manual and the important info is only on the first line of the second page. In the "Inside drying" mode, the unit dries itself before long-term storage. If you somehow click through, the fan will hum, but it won't dry out the room. During the day, I tested how far away the instrument had to be from my head to avoid disturbing me and came up with a distance of 6m at High speed. In addition to the humming, the device also makes dripping noises like a shower in the bathroom to give you an idea in addition to the already described humming. I have not taken any exact noise measurements. At night, the machine goes into another room and the rest of the people either have to tweak the settings (timer/turntables) or sleep like a log. We have a 25 m2 bedroom and I took this unit for power reserve. The room is quite well heated by waste heat. If you have a kid, the downside is that the wheels don't lock and the kids try to travel with the device where the cord will let them and it's quite fun to switch functions/modes, so it looks like a DJ console for toddlers. Or they warm their hands/back at the waste heat outlet. I would recommend considering a playpen for the facility possibly removing children from the interior where the facility is to be operated. The two don't really go together, at least in our country. That's how I have the machine set up: - Dry clothes - the machine constantly dries and ignores the humidity setting when it should switch off and on. In the automatic mode, it then switches on when the set value is exceeded by 5% and switches off drying when the drying is 5% below the set value. Then the fan just hums. In the future I'll leave it on auto mod. - Fan High - Ionizer - if your "Inside Drying" light is on then you are not drying the room, you are drying the unit itself, so you want to have the Ionizer on for dehumidification. Across the internet I found a lot of negative reviews written in the language of our eastern "brothers". If you don't read the manual, you will suffer like our eastern neighbours after the election of Fico. Read the manual!
