I switched to Clean It from a classic big beater that gave up after 3 years. In retrospect, it was quite a hassle to lug it from/to the basement because of its size. The Clean It is beautifully compact, it fits over my kitchen cabinets. This makes it easy to keep on hand at all times. No planning a trip to the basement. I've only cleaned the couch once so far. At first, I didn't quite know how much clean water and product to put into the machine the first time. I now know that I will definitely "fill up" and I may very well refill another half of the tank after vacuuming and pouring. A bit of a catch is that when the dirty water container is full, the suction quietly stops working. After a while, however, it dawns on you that the vacuumed surface somehow does not change and remains wet. Anyway, it's great that nothing's leaking. In terms of power, I'm glad I chose the 750W variant. The performance seems sufficient to me; I'm not sure if that would be enough for the weaker version. The first cleaning was absolutely relaxing, the subsequent cleaning and tidying up of the device as well. Great satisfaction so far. It's obvious that someone put a lot of thought into the design of the device.
