As for the reviews on the Internet, Alza sells new drives that have exactly 2TB available (not 1.8), and when I went to the firmware download page (https://support-ru.sandisk.com/app/firmwareupdate) and entered my serial number, I received a message that these drives are not subject to the erase error. Therefore, I recommend buying them!

Works well as a memory expansion for the PlayStation 5 :)
satisfaction
I use it as backup memory for my PlayStation 5.
You have to copy larger amounts of data in several goes.

Small, robust, shock-resistant, 4TB is more than enough capacity.

Unfortunately, the price is still high
It’s fast; it’s still new, so I can’t comment on its reliability, but I’m satisfied

A compact design and attractive finish.
It’s getting hotter than usual.

I’ve only had the disc for a short while. I've used it for the first time – everything's fine. Hopefully, they'll last a long time.

a bargain? A year ago, that same 2TB model cost 4,599.

The drive is quite fast, small and rubberized. That's where its advantages end. When I later read on Reddit that quite a few users had left, I thought maybe it was an earlier version. I bought it on 10/10/2025. Today is 5/20/2026 and the disc died without any warning. I had it connected to my macAir the whole time. Fortunately, I had the most important project also cast on GitHub, otherwise I would have gone crazy. Unfortunately, I still lost a lot of valuable data. If you value your data, never buy this drive!
Fast disk
Unreliable!
