For people who've only used cheaper headphones under a grand until now, these are a pretty good compromise between price and quality. If you've had some more expensive ANC headphones on your ears before, you might not be completely thrilled, but if you've never used ANC before, you'll be surprised at how effective they actually are. Connection is absolutely seamless - no sudden disconnections or the need to completely remove the device every so often, which sometimes happens. Connecting to a PC is no problem, it depends on the BT receiver but the headphones still work across 2 rooms. The only major, yet easily solvable, negative is the ear tips. They're unusable for working out, they fall out of your ears and it can be incredibly infuriating when you're trying to concentrate, but you can buy practically any replacement tips made of foam instead of silicone. I'm not an audiophile, but if I compare the quality with my previous headphones that cost up to 2,000, these are definitely the best so far. The volume is high, you can't even listen at max volume in the gym unless you want to risk damaging your hearing. The controls aren't overcomplicated, just pause/play, volume, ANC, you don't need anything else.
Sound quality is what you'd expect for the price – not some flimsy piece of rubbish.
Very loud
The ANC is also acceptable for the price, the effect is definitely not just for show but actually functional.
Battery life in the headphones - 2 days at the gym and evening listening at the PC with absolutely no problems, definitely 8 hours in total.
Awful earbuds - they fall out even immediately after cleaning your ears - just have to buy and test different ones.
The battery in the case is on the weaker side, it fully charges the headphones about 2 times max.

I've had a comparison with JBL headphones for the last while and I have to say that Sony surprised me very pleasantly. They're totally awesome at this price point. Sound balanced, nice bass, well working ANC. All necessary functions are available via the headphones' touch controls (volume, track switching and ANC control). In an app that has a sometimes quite long response time, you only need one setting at the beginning and then, unlike JBL, it is not needed for normal use. ANC obviously doesn't filter out everything, but the headphones have good passive attenuation as well so ambient noise is at least very muted if not completely eliminated.
