Shortly after the warranty expired, the battery in the left handset died. Even with ANC off, it lasts about 15 - 20 minutes, then it has to go into the box. The Sony store told me that they knew about the problem and gave me the contact details of an authorized service center, saying that they would replace the headphones for free. I was concerned, but only until I called the service center and they said they were replacing another type where there was some software bug, but not this type. They said the batteries can't be replaced at all and they can give me two new headphones, each for about CZK 1,800, which, as they admitted, doesn't make sense. They say it's a tax on miniaturization. So there you go. I am disappointed, I will have to throw the headphones away and buy another one. Just definitely not Sony anymore.
