After a previous experience where a couple of Ledvance 10A sockets blew up on appliances up to 2000W, I thought I had to get a 16A so that there was a bit of a ceiling, as I use it for, among other things, direct current heaters. I've read in reviews that it is turned off after a power outage. I haven't had this happen to me myself, so I can't empirically disprove it, but there is an option in the settings called "Network Connection Status" where you can select what you want to happen, and I think that will cover it. Someone else wrote 4W consumption. The measurement of power consumption in these small wattages is not accurate and I plugged it into a Solight DT26 meter, which indicates an accuracy of +-1.5% up to over 2W. Therefore, it will not be so accurate, however, it measured about 0.7W with the socket switched off and 1.2W with the socket switched on, which is such a standard. 4W seems like too much already because it would be recognized. At that wattage, the outlet would already be getting pretty hot without any power to the plugged in appliance. The app is such a standard one, for some it may be useful that it is in English, which doesn't look like google translator. Pairing on the 2.4GHz network was completely without problem and the signal is catching quite well, at least it does not keep warning me in a remote corner of the house about the supposedly weak signal, unlike the previous type.
