Oura or Ultrahuman? That was the question. There was one decision: There is no subscription fee with Ultrahuman, only payment for your own smartring. Size selection easy thanks to the test size kit and the titanium colour most interesting to me. I definitely don't regret the decision, even though after the first three days and three battery charges I panic about battery life. Repeatedly, after approx. 30 hours the battery drained 30 percent! Plus disappointment that no one responded after emailing Ultrahuman directly. I was already determined to claim on Alza.cz, but fortunately the battery problem can be dealt with, as I accidentally found: directly in the app there is a small note that a "soft reset" is recommended in case of battery problems. And voilà. After it is done, the battery life is 5 days fine (and still about 10% reserve). So now complete satisfaction. Smartring is doing exactly what it is supposed to do and the way it is supposed to do it: -)

For the price of a quality watch, I expected the same functions. Unfortunately, the ring cannot measure physical activity. It does not recognize it by itself, but even when turning on a specific activity, it does not measure practically anything. The pedometer is more of a random number generator. In fact, 80% of the application is just a meaningless summary. But what it measures is sleep. Of course, the REM phase, etc., I can' t judge if it indicates accurately. Emotionally, the results feel good to me. Battery life is good, but forget about 6 days. I am charging on the fifth day with 10% battery. Updates are very frequent and will hopefully catch up with the activity measurement as well. Czech is a little lame, but I' m glad it' s there at all.

Those rings have a fairly high failure rate and Ultrahuman really cares about their customers. There is no point in buying it from Alza. If you buy this ring directly from Ultrahuman and something goes wrong with it, they send you a new ring right away and you have a replacement in 3 days. The same goes for Apple with headphones, cell phones and everything. You go to the iStore with damaged AirPods and leave with new ones for free. I believe that most companies already have a similar service today. But this does not apply to Alza. You file a complaint with them, and if you' re lucky, it will be resolved within 20 days. But there is a 50% chance that it will take 30 days with the fact that the service will tell you that the goods are not defective and you can submit it again and wait another month. Meanwhile, Alza has your X thousand crowns for goods that you don' t even have. There is no chance to rush it, or to solve it with someone. I waited about 60 days to claim my headphones because after the first 30 days they returned it saying there was no fault - even though I described it in extreme detail. And yes, you can pay X thousand more for an instant replacement guarantee - but it' s better to buy it from the manufacturer, because the price will be the same. In addition, you are only entitled to an immediate exchange at Alza once. If the goods are damaged a second time, you can wait for a claim again.
