The tent has been tested, it also experienced quite strong wind, rain and a stormy burst of clouds at night. I built and tied with the help of the supplied cords, due to the terrain the pegs did not hold very well, I used stones as weights. The tent was well closed, it did not deform even in strong winds, the distance between the tropic and the outer shell was sufficient everywhere. It didn' t steam more than usual (the vent was open even in the rain, it didn' t do any mischief). I built without a footprint, the floor of the inner tent seems quite durable even so. After experience, I wouldn' t be afraid to build even without a tropic, just on the footprint. Overall, the product seems to be of high quality, including the zippers - but we will see the durability in time. The price/performance ratio is excellent for me.
